Indonesian-born Marisa, and Norwegian Bard bonded while watching a soccer game at a Taberet of all places! Fortunately the venue for the reception was a little more upmarket, the very gorgeous Comme in Melbourne’s CBD. Another mutual love? Star Wars! I just love the Princess Leia and Han Solo wedding cake toppers (R2D2 as best man?)
A “fresh as a daisy” yellow and white colour palate, along with cute Kate Spade-inspired polka dots, Fiona displayed fantastic attention to detail for her gorgeous Yarra Valley wedding to Scott. Hanging lanterns, edible chocolate table centrepieces from Sisko Chocolates, and check out the fantastic enamel bridal bouquet (Etsy, thank you very much!) – pros: will not wilt and die, cons: not so good for throwing at the end of the reception!
In a nod to their meeting in London, UK native Deb, and local boy Joe, scored some classic London cabs for their wedding transport, at the fabulously photogenic Monsalvat in Eltham. Some good natured banter between the Brits and Aussies at the reception kept the mood fun, and entertaining!
